Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE 2026-09-01 · APPLIES TO THE FILTERS CAMERA APP AND THIS WEBSITE
The short version

Your photos and videos never leave your phone. Filters Camera has no accounts, no ads, no analytics trackers, and no servers storing your content. The only data that exists at all is what the app stores on your device and the standard purchase records Apple or Google keep when you buy something.

1. Who we are

Filters Camera is developed and operated by Nikolay Kovalskiy, an independent developer ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

2. Your photos and videos

Everything the camera captures is processed on your device. Filters render locally; photos and videos are saved to your device gallery and to the app's local library. We do not upload, receive, view, or store your content. There is no cloud.

3. Permissions the app asks for

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To know which purchases belong to your device (so your Premium works and can be restored), the app uses Adapty, a subscription-management service, which processes a random device identifier and purchase state on our behalf. See Adapty's privacy policy.

5. What we do not do

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your content stays on your device, deleting it is in your hands: delete photos from your gallery or the app, or uninstall the app to remove its local data. Purchase records are governed by Apple/Google. To ask Adapty to erase the purchase-state record tied to your device identifier, contact us and we will pass the request on.

7. Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data. Since we hold essentially none, most requests resolve to the deletion steps above — but write to us and we will help: [email protected].

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app's update notes.
