These Terms govern your use of the Filters Camera mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by Nikolay Kovalskiy, an independent developer ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes, in line with the store rules. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its filters except where the law explicitly allows it.
The core set of looks is free. Filters Camera Premium is an optional paid tier adding premium looks, uncapped video recording, monthly look drops, and other features as described in the app at the time of purchase.
On the free tier, photos and videos saved with premium looks carry a visible Filters Camera watermark, and free video length is capped. The watermark is rendered into the file at capture and is permanent — it is not removed retroactively by a later purchase. Premium captures new content without a watermark. Free looks are never watermarked.
Photos and videos you capture are yours. We claim no ownership and, since your content never reaches us, we could not use it if we wanted to (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for what you shoot and share, and for respecting the rights of people you photograph.
The app, its design, its name, and its filters (including their code and visual results as embodied in the app) are our intellectual property or used under license. Look names are creative labels; any resemblance to trademarks of film or camera manufacturers is referential and does not imply affiliation.
Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe others' privacy or rights, or to interfere with the Service's operation.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Visual results vary by device, camera hardware, and lighting. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to EUR 10.
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate the Service or these Terms if you materially breach them.
We may update these Terms; the current version always lives on this page with its effective date. Continued use after an update means acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the app's update notes.
These Terms are governed by the law of the developer's country of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your own country. Questions: [email protected].
